The SDGs Design Unit has been carrying out the “Kyushu University x Kao SDGs Creative Collaboration” since May 2018 as the first industry-academia collaboration project. Kao Corporation, creators in Fukuoka City, and students from Kyushu University have been divided into three teams: video, product, and picture book. These works, derived from the new collaboration, will be introduced in three parts.<\/p>\n

The third and final part is a product by the team.<\/p>\n

\nThrowing away food that can still be eaten, using too much water or detergent, or using too much energy. Too much into “cleanliness” may reduce our immunity and pollute the earth at the same time. Based on such an idea, we proposed a hand soap with a completely new concept of “Embrace Bacteria for Good Health”.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 clean clear create India!
\nIndia has a persistent consciousness of “cleaning = out-of-caste work” and does not have a strong sense of keeping public spaces clean. Therefore, we proposed a mechanism that makes cleaning the elementary school, which is the most familiar public space, enjoyable for children who will be leaders of the future. Children who are good at cleaning will receive pencils and badges. The idea is to create equality and a clean India by cleaning public spaces regardless of their status.<\/p>\n
