{"id":3061,"date":"2023-02-28T11:27:43","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T02:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mirai.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/?post_type=reports&#038;p=3061"},"modified":"2026-04-22T23:38:25","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T14:38:25","slug":"the-3rd-asian-design-symposium-2","status":"publish","type":"activity","link":"https:\/\/www.mirai.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/en\/activity\/the-3rd-asian-design-symposium-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The 3rd Asian Design Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Asian Design Symposium, organized by Center for Designed Futures of Kyushu University as well as the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, aims to create a new academic research field in the Asian region through collaboration among Asian design universities.\u00a0 The goal is to position this symposium as an educational and research center for design studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On February 4, 2023, the third symposium was held, welcoming deans and vice deans from various Asian universities and introducing the latest design research and design education activities of each institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the latter half of the meeting, there was a lively discussion on how the symposium should be organized and how it can develop in the future.
