“Design Seeds and Needs Bridge” is a closed website designed to match the “seeds” from the areas of expertise and interest of the Center’s faculty members with the research and development “needs” that member companies are considering pursuing, with the goal of creating opportunities for joint research. Companies wishing to register as members are welcome to contact us at any time.

We invite submissions of up to three “themes and keywords” related to the research seeds of the Center’s faculty members, as well as “themes and keywords” related to the research needs of member companies. Matching will then be facilitated through a moderator.

Member companies may view the “themes and keywords” related to the research seeds of all faculty members, as well as the “themes and keywords” related to their own research needs. Faculty members may view the “themes and keywords” related to the research needs of all member companies, as well as the “themes and keywords” related to the research seeds of all faculty members.

The matching process is as follows.

Please note that while the ultimate goal is to lead to joint research or consulting agreements, we believe there is also great value in companies and faculty members building relationships through this website.
