The Faculty of Design of Kyushu University will hold an online symposium for the promotion of media arts titled Speaking on the Future of the Media Arts in Asia.

The Faculty of Design of Kyushu University has been engaged in various efforts to bring further life to media arts. Through the Asia Digital Art Award FUKUOKA (ADAA), a media art competition that originated in Fukuoka that has been opened yearly for the past 20 years, we have contributed to developing media arts and training creators, including students, through industry-government-academia collaboration. In this symposium, we will invite the ADAA judges for a passionate discussion on the transformation and future of digital art and design, and the role of the competition in supporting creators, in two parts.
