NewsAsia Digital Art Award FUKUOKA 2024 Award Winners Exhibition2025.1.27


The 2024 Asia Digital Art Award FUKUOKA media arts competition, organized primarily by Kyushu University, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Fukuoka City, will hold an exhibition of the award-winning works from Tuesday, March 4 to Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Fukuoka Art Museum (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City). This year, the 24th edition of the competition received 617 entries from 16 countries and regions, and selected 53 award-winning works, including the Asia Digital Art Award. Among them, students from Kyushu University’s Faculty of Design won awards for four works, including the Fukuoka Mayor’s Award. The exhibition will present these award-winning works through displays, screenings, and various programs, offering visitors numerous experiences of cutting-edge expressions that fuse science and art. Admission is free, so please feel free to visit.
Moreover, on Friday, March 7 during the exhibition period, a talk featuring Nobumichi Tosa of Maywa Denki will be held in collaboration with the Narrative Design Course of the Faculty of Design, Graduate School of Design, Kyushu University. Furthermore, the award ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 8 at the Fukuoka Art Museum (attendance is limited to the people concerned).
