Kyushu University Faculty of Design’s SDGs Design Unit is cosponsoring a forum with Center for Designed Futures of Kyushu University, and The Nishinippon Shimbun Co., Ltd., Kyushu happiness joint development laboratory (Hakuhodo Incorporated Kyushu Office) which will discuss the promotion of UN SDGs (sustainable development goals.)

Movement toward open innovation will be stimulated in Fukuoka where international exchange of information regarding resources, people and money is all so active. We will not be finishing at ideals and ideology, but actual realization through the “power of design” (e.g. in business, goods, services, shops, buildings, towns, videos and other clear content) to search for a way to provide a sustainable society and economy.

We will be running a panel discussion in Kyushu University Faculty of Design’s forum focusing upon introducing examples of SDG design being put into practice as well as the vision for the future of companies and municipalities opened up by SDG design.
