NewsWinners for the 2020 Asia Digital Art Award Exhibition Fukuoka have been decided!2020.12.25

The 2020 Asia Digital Art Award Fukuoka (ADAA) is a media art competition organized primarily by Kyushu University, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Fukuoka City which started in 2001 as a space for discovering and cultivating creators from Northern Kyushu possessing the high level skills and sensitivity digital content creation demands.

For this competition marking the 20th annual event, we received submissions of 512 works from 20 countries and regions, and a total of 59 works were selected to receive awards, in addition to the Asia Digital Art Award. There were seven works from Kyushu University which received awards, including the Fukuoka Governor’s Award.

The results will be announced on the Asia Digital Art Award Fukuoka official website, and exhibitions of the award winning works will be held from 2/16 (Tue.) to 2/23/2021 (Tue., national holiday) at Fukuoka City Science Museum (4-2-1 Ropponmatsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka-shi), Fukuoka Art Museum (1-6 Ohorikoen, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka-shi), and NHK Fukuoka Broadcasting Center (1-1-10 Ropponmatsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka-shi), with the awards ceremony held on 2/20/2021 (Sat.) at Fukuoka Art Museum.
