SDGs Design Unit is teaming up with Kao Corporation as the first part of the “SDGs Design Society Tie-Up Program” and conducting “Kyushu × Kao SDGs Creative Collaboration” in which creations that solve societal problems are produced.

Picture books with the theme of food loss in developing countries and products proposing new hygiene environments, from ideas that were born in the Kick Off Workshop held in May 2018, are being produced.

As part of Kyushu×Kao SDGs Creative Collaboration, an exhibition of creations with SDGs designs and presentations by students were held at the Kyushu University The Academic Festival 2018, which was held on September 29th, 2018. A picture book with the theme of food loss in India, “The Great Indian Cleaning Mission!”, was announced in the talk show where students, teaching staff, and alumni take the stage, “Overcome the limits of learning with Kyushu University! ~This is the path that I will live~”. Daichi Morinaga, who made this announcement, won an award.
