The Faculty of Design at Kyushu University is currently accepting applications for the following position.

5.Job scope:
●SDGs Design International Award
The successful candidate will be involved in planning, production, management, budgeting and information management, coordination, and other administrative operations associated with the SDGs Design International Awards organized by the “SDGs Design Unit” to facilitate the contribution of ideas from the field of design aimed at achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) proposed by the United Nations.
This includes website management, operation, and updates, as well as handling general enquiries.
●International conferences such as the Japan-China (East Asian) Design Conference
The successful candidate will be involved in planning, management, PR activities, administrative operations, budget management, and coordination with overseas universities.
●Regional/international collaborative design workshops such as Global Goals Jam, etc.
The successful candidate will be involved in planning, workshop management and support, PR activities, administrative operations, record keeping, and budget management.
The successful candidate will also be assigned other related work.

6.Work location:Kyushu University Ohashi Campus

7.Term of contract:Until March 2021 (the contract may be renewed on a yearly basis)

9.Eligibility (requirements specific to this position)
・Applicants should be able to support the planning, production, and management of international conferences.
・Applicants should be able to conduct interviews, write manuscripts, record videos, and facilitate workshops.
・Applicants should be able to communicate in English.
・Applicants should be able to carry out the required work by communicating effectively with various parties inside and outside the university.

10.Remuneration and Benefits:
・Salary: 10,400~14,400 yen daily (to be determined according to the relevant university regulations based on experience, etc.)
・Working hours: From 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM (including a break of 60 minutes)
・Off-days: Weekends, public holidays, and from December 29th to January 3rd
・Social insurance: Available
